Over the next several months, PSRC will work with its members, stakeholders, and other interested parties to develop a draft 2050 vision Adoption of a new Vision 2050 by the PSRC General Assembly is scheduled for spring 2020 It will define the four-county region's growth management vision, strategies, and actions for the next 30 years and beyond MBAKS' ROLE AND IMPACT In recognition of the association's stature as a thought leader for residential building industry issues, MBAKS was appointed to a second three-year term as a non-voting member of the GMPB leading the Vision 2050 process This represents an important opportunity for our collective voice to be at the table, vigorously representing your interests Vision 2050 will set the stage for the next round of local comprehensive land use plans, as well as local development regulations Association External Relations Manager (and this article's author) Patricia Akiyama serves on the board, with King County Manager Jennifer Anderson serving as alternate We will keep you up to date on critical actions at the GMPB through weekly builders council email updates In the meantime, if you have questions, please ask!
