SPECIALIZED RECREATION 22 Spring/Summer 2019 SPECIALIZED RECREATION We are pleased to offer Specialized Recreation Programs for people with special needs. We encourage people with special needs to participate in all of our recreation programs and activities, but feel it is important to give the option of inclusive and specialized programming. DSHS accepted. Club Mercer - Summer Camp This new day camp will be a great way to spend your time this summer! Meet new friends, try new activities, and just have a good time! A weekly itinerary will be available on the first day of camp. Campers will need to bring a snack and water bottle each day….summer of fun, here we come! Ages: 12+ Location: West Mercer Elementary Course # Days Dates Time Resident/ General Fee 6058 Mon - Fri Jul 15 - 19 1pm - 4pm $154/$184 Kicking It With Katy Dance Class This dance class will be fun and energetic with lots of different music, dance styles, and the occasional dress up day. Through music, the instructor hopes this class will inspire and make a difference in everyone's lives, as it does to hers! Ages: 12+ Instructor: Katy Gray Location: Mercer Island Community & Event Center Course # Day Dates Time Resident/ General Fee 3539 Sun Jan 6 - Mar 17 11:30am - 12:30pm $180/$215 6442 Sat Apr 13 - Jun 16 11:30am - 12:30pm $164/$195 Weekly Workouts Join us for a weekly workout! We will explore different circuit trainings and play games to get hearts pumping and a weekly workout in. Ages: 13+ Day: Thu Location: Mercer Island Community & Event Center Course # Dates Time Resident/ General Fee 4200 Apr 11 - Jun 20 4pm - 5pm $180/$211 ADAPTIVE & SPECIAL NEEDS PROGRAMS Mercer Island Parks & Recreation is partnered with the Bellevue Highland Center to provide adaptive recreation programming for Island residents at the Bellevue resident rate. There are a wide range of classes and special events available.
