Head for the Ferry around 8:05am. Tour is limited to 40 cars. We will take a full-day scenic trip around beautiful Hood Canal. Highlights include a stop in historic Port Gamble, beautiful Whitney Gardens, with gorgeous roads throughout. There will be plenty of time to explore all our points of interest on this full-day adventure. Lunch is at the Hama Hama Oyster Saloon. There are two alternative lunch locations nearby for those who do not want the fresh seafood. Final stop is at Alderbrook Resort. The resort offers food and beverages for those wanting afternoon refreshments. The tour start location is 10 minutes from the Kingston Ferry at Puerto Vallarta Mexican Restaurant (8208 WA-104). Suggest taking the 8:50am Ferry. You can NOT make reservations for the Ferry so plan accordingly and come early enough to catch the Ferry. Running from Saturday, June 22 to Sunday, June 30, this tour will travel in each of the ten Zone 6 regions located in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia. We will see mountains, forests, deserts, glaciers, great rivers and the Pacific Ocean. Each region has selected a route which best exemplifies touring in that area. Your participation can be tailored to your available time and interest. You can join for one day or all days. You can join for the PNWR kickoff day and the Oregon completion day. Mix and match as you like. The most adventurous will experience the whole tour. The tour route will start in Pacific Northwest Region, head to the Olympic Peninsula Region, cross to Vancouver Island by ferry, go east through British Columbia, Washington, Idaho and Oregon. Planned total distance about 2000 miles.
