Ship management Close relationships with top vendors, suppliers and labor unions allow Crowley Solutions to provide effective ship management services to diverse government customers, including to many Military Sealift Command (MSC) and Maritime Administration (MARAD) ships, including container, roll-on/roll-offs (Ro/Ros), marine aviation, missile range instrumentation and ocean surveillance vessels. Services include: Operational and technical support Chartering Crewing Custodianship Conversions Safety, security, quality and environmental assurance programs Transportation management Crowley's team manages large-scale freight supply chains in support of Department of Defense (DoD) activities across the Continental U.S., Alaska and Canada. Under the multi-year $2.3 billion contract, Crowley moves various types of cargo from thousands of material suppliers through 41 major depots around the continental U.S. The program encompasses all forms of truck transportation, including less-than-truckload (LTL), full truckload (FTL), expedited and refrigerated services; air; rail; and customs clearance service for freight of all kinds (FAK). Delivery locations include vendor facilities, DoD warehouses or depots, and U.S. military installations. Customers include: Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) U.S. Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY Marine engineering Crowley is a valued partner to U.S. government and military customers tackling a variety of complex projects around the world.
