feature story summer 2019 6 Shared Passions, Different Paths If there are typical young, beginning or small ag producers, we haven't met them yet. Everyone's story is different, every path distinct. Yet, each destination is the same: a life well lived in agriculture. In this feature story you'll meet four couples with unique journeys. They hail from different states and countries. Only one was raised on a farm. All were pursuing decidedly different careers before discovering a passion for agriculture. Now, their products are wildly dissimilar, their markets strikingly diverse. Such is the beauty of agriculture. Still, they all share a passion for their chosen fields. They care deeply about their impact on the environment and use sustainable practices. They're connecting personally with their customers, educating them about where their food comes from, and answering the trending question, "Who is my farmer?"
