YOUTH ACTIVITIES
Hand Embroidery
Participants will be introduced to the art of hand
embroidery. This traditional needlecraft creates
decorative patterns on fabric using a needle and thread.
Students will learn which tools and materials to use,
how to transfer designs and how to hoop fabric. They'll
also learn an assortment of decorative stitches such as
running, satin, daisy chain and French knots. These
can be used to create several projects like a needle
book, sampler, monograms and embellishments for
their belongings.

Let's Play with Crochet
Youth will have fun learning the skills and techniques
of crochet. Learn the fundamentals of this portable
craft including chain stitch, a single crochet stitch, the
importance of gauge, how to start a project and how
to finish it. Projects include bracelet with beads, scarf,
potholder and a bottle koozie. Crochet hooks and yarn
are provided. Participants should bring a snack and
drink.

Art-Rageous Arts & Crafts Camp
Do you love arts and crafts? Join the fun with instructor
Beth Ha in this artistic camp where you will learn the
elements of art and explore with different media to
make creative crafts including string art, decoupage,
sun prints, drawing and more. Friends and family will
be amazed by your creativity! Please bring a water and
snack.

Drawing & Painting Arts Exploration Camp
Come and explore with artist Eve! Learn to draw and
paint from an experienced artist and teacher. Explore
color, value, positive and negative space, contour
drawing and more. You will use watercolor, acrylic and
mixed media paints to create frameable works of art.
