32 SPEAKERS Mark George, Chairman, IMC Companies Mark George is the Chairman of IMC Companies. Mr. George moved to Memphis in 1982 to start Intermodal Cartage Co. Mr. George founded IMC Companies LLC in 2009 and currently serves as chairman of the group. What started with one truck and one driver has grown to more than 800 trucks, 125 maintenance and repair vehicles and more than 1,000 employees across the country. Gene Seroka, President, Americas APL Limited Gene Seroka was appointed President, Americas in April 2010 and leads NOL Group's businesses and operations in the US, Canada and Latin America. Before that, Mr. Seroka was Vice President, Middle East, for APL. Mr Seroka joined APL in 1988 and has over 22 years' experience in container shipping and logistics. Mr Seroka has held a range of management positions within the company, including Vice President of APL Logistics for Asia and the Middle East; Managing Director for APL and APL Logistics businesses in Indonesia, Director of Sales and Marketing in China and sales management and marketing roles in the US. Philip Wojcik, President, Consolidated Chassis Management Philip Wojcik is the President of Consolidated Chassis Management. CCM operates over 125,000 chassis in pools across the U.S. CCM is an affiliate of the Ocean Carrier Equipment Management Association, Inc. (OCEMA), an association of 20 major international ocean carriers. Mr. Wojcik's responsibilities include the executive management and leadership of the CCM chassis pool program, its operation, system development and staff. Mr. Wojcik was previously Vice President, Operations at Trac Lease, Inc. and prior to that had served as Vice President, Corporate Operations for P&O Nedlloyd, a major international ocean carrier. Tommy Barnes, President, Con-way Multimodal Tommy Barnes is President of Con- way Multimodal, a division of Menlo Worldwide Logistics that arranges third-party carrier services for over- the-road, intermodal, flatbed, heavy haul and specialized transportation for freight shipments. As president, Mr. Barnes is responsible for the strategic growth and financial and operating performance of the company. Mr. Barnes joined Menlo in 2000 as a transportation project manager. He subsequently served as a senior logistics manager and director of transportation procurement for Menlo.
