Our higher-than-expected retention numbers from the 2014 and 2015 classes confi rm we are providing value to our membership and the Association. How do we continue to record such impressive retention and recruiting numbers? We tell the truth. Take a look, for example, at just a few of the impressive statistics from all areas of the Association: 1. BENEFIT PROGRAMS More than 60% of members take part in our Health Trust Program and L&I Retro (and refund) program (GRIP). 2. EVENTS The Association has more than 300 yearly industry events, including education programs, networking events, training classes, council functions and general membership dinners. 3. ADVOCACY The core purpose of our association is to support industry growth with integrity. Our size gives our members a voice on the local and state levels that they cannot get on their own. 4. STEWARDSHIP Our signature Rampathon ® and Painting a Better Tomorrow ™ events are pacesetters for the many key ways our members give back to our communities– giving back is a cornerstone of the Association mission statement. WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? The construction industry has changed over the last 10 years. What was important a decade ago may not be today. We recognize that technology has changed the way we all do business forever. The Association is making technology upgrades as well as staff improvements that will continue to give our members a competitive advantage in the marketplace for many years to come. You'll want to be here as it happens. 21 master builder 09.16 master builder Words From tHe cHair
