Nick brings invaluable government and law experience that is expected to have signifi cant positive impact on the Association's government advocacy eff orts going forward. An attorney, Nick previously served as director of the Offi ce of Intergovernmental Relations for the City of Seattle. Prior to that, he represented the 38th Legislative District in the state Senate, where, in 2013, he served as Deputy Leader of the Democratic Caucus. While serving in the legislature Harper worked at Adams & Duncan, Inc. P.S., a law fi rm in Everett. His additional work experience includes serving as the Snohomish County Conservation Director for Forterra (formerly the Cascade Land Conservancy) and as Government Aff airs Director for the Snohomish County-Camano Association of Realtors.
