Code of Conduct The City of Mercer Island Parks & Recreation Department promotes an atmosphere of community and positive sportsmanship at the facilities, programs and events. We request participants and spectators observe a code of conduct. Guarded hours will be between 12pm and 6pm. If you are interested in bringing a group, please contact the Facility Scheduler at for details and reservation information. Additional information on dates, hours, and water quality may be found at Beaches are subject to closure due to inclement weather or low staffing. Mercer Island Boat Launch The Mercer Island Boat Launch is located directly off of Interstate 90, under the East Channel Bridge (exit #8 from the freeway). Day parking is $11, or an annual pass can be purchased at the Mercer Island Community & Event Center for $70. With two lanes for launching, on-site parking and nearby overflow parking, ADA accessible, a new dock, and an easy-to-use ticket machine accepting debit and credit cards, the Mercer Island Boat Launch is a safe and convenient place to start your day on Lake Washington.
