SPECIALIZED RECREATION SPECIALIZED RECREATION We are pleased to offer Specialized Recreation Programs for people with special needs. We encourage people with special needs to participate in all of our recreation programs and activities, but feel it is important to give the option of inclusive and specialized programming. Slice 'N Dice NEW! Come enjoy a slice of pizza and games to play! We'll be taking over the Community Center Game Room to roll some dice, shoot pool and play games with friends, old and new! Registration is not required to participate. Age: 12 & up Day: 1st Wed of the Month Date: Apr 5, May 3, Jun 7 Time: 5pm - 7pm Fee: $5 Drop-In Fee Location: Mercer Island Community & Event Center Monday Workouts Join us on Mondays for a workout! The Instructor, Morgan McCarthy, will have activities to get your fitness needs met! Parents or caregivers welcome to join at no cost. Course #: 17021 Day: Mon Date: Apr 3 - May 22 Time: 5pm - 6pm Fee: $124 Resident $148 Non-Resident Instructor: Morgan McCarthy Location: Mercer Island Community & Event Center Spring Fling Dance NEW! We'll be heading out to the Si View Community Center for music, dancing and treats, with our friends from Si View and Issaquah Parks and Recreation! Van departs from the Mercer Island Community Center at 5:45pm. Course #: 17140 Age: 12 & up Day/Date: Sat, May 6 Time: 5:45pm – 9:15pm (Dance runs from 6:30pm – 8:30pm) Fee: $15 Location: Si View Community Center, North Bend Mercer Island Special Olympics Special Olympics is for anyone with a developmental disABILITY. National Kids to Parks Day Join us in celebrating our nation's parks by participating in the 7th annual Kids to Parks Day on Saturday, May 20, 2017.
