Let our Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) Water Fitness Instructors lead you through a challenging workout. The AEA Certifi ed Professional is qualifi ed to teach Aquatic Fitness to general populations where participants are approved by their physician for independent exercise. Each instructor's unique style off ers a program for everyone. A comfort level in shallow and deep water is recommended and swimming is not required. Water shoes and webbed gloves are encouraged. Gloves are available to purchase at the PAFC. Come check out this great fi tness alternative and see if you like what we have to off er. First class is free. Daily drop-in fee. Registration Required! For all Fitness and Water Exercise participants! All participants, including annual members and drop-in guests, must register for any water exercise classes for which they wish to participate in for each brochure period. A completed Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire Form (PAR-Q) and Medical Authorization Form are required once each calendar year. You will receive an email containing these documents upon registration. A PAR-Q Form and a Medical Authorization Form are required each calendar year per participant. They are also available at the Pioneer Center, the PAFC, and online at PullmanParksandRec.com, department forms, Personal Training - PAR-Q and Medical Authorization Form. AEA Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program This warm-water exercise program, suitable for every fi tness level, has been shown to reduce pain and improve overall health. Exercises include range of motion, muscle-strengthening, socialization activities, and an optional, moderate- intensity aerobic component. The classes are led by specifi cally trained aquatic program leaders. Each session provides a friendly and supportive environment that encourages social interaction. Although the classes are held in the water, swimming skills are not necessary. Join a class today! The AEA Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program will help! Aqua Zumba ® This program is included with your annual PAFC membership. The Aqua Zumba ® program is the "pool party" workout for all ages. Aletha will guide you through a safe, eff ective, and challenging water-based workout that integrates all elements of fi tness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and fl exibility, boosted energy, and a serious dose of awesome in each class.
