They explore music through a variety of sounds, singing, instruments, and recordings. Children love to sing and dance together through folk songs, rhymes, circle games, and more! These youngsters begin to explore their own musical imagination as they create their own simple rhythms and melodies and practice singing solos. Class fee includes a song book and CD with all of the songs you will learn in class. Horseback Riding 101 While working individually with their own horse or pony, beginning riders will be introduced to proper safety practices, horsemanship skills, grooming, and riding techniques. Nerf Skirmish for Families Pullman Parks & Recreation is bringing back Nerf Skirmish this fall and once again it's open to the entire family! Our target range is still 7-11 years old, but we have fun with older siblings and parents. We will be off ering Vortex Discs along with the Whistler and Clip System darts that were used previously, as well as eye protection, and a limited number of blasters. This is a great chance for your child to have some fun, run around, and learn about teamwork, and sportsmanship in a less traditional arena. Grab your jump rope and get ready for an exciting class! You will learn a variety of jump rope skills including single rope, double Dutch, and group routines. This program is intended for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. So don't worry if you have never jumped before. As long as you are willing to try, this program is for you! Instructor Sarah Hartman has been jumping rope for over 12 years and has been coaching all diff erent ages and skill levels for six years! She has fi ve world titles. She has been trained by the USA Jump Rope Federation. Advanced Tumbling Technique This punch card class will focus on combination tumbling and proper technique. Students must have a round off back handspring without a spot to enter this class.
