Pullman Aquatic & Fitness Center: 500 NW Larry St PAFC Phone: 509-338-3290 Senior Center Phone: 509-338-3307 Pullman Senior Center: City Hall, 325 SE Paradise St 3 As the 2017 year comes to an end, the Parks & Recreation Department would like to take this opportunity to say "Thank You" to the Pullman community for their support of Propositions 1 and 2 on the November General Election ballot. 63% support on Proposition 1 and 73% on Proposition 2 is a strong statement that our residents value the quality of life the City of Pullman off ers. However, due to enough uncertainty in the interpretation of the law in order to validate the election, our City Council has elected to not pass the bonds. On February 13, 2018 the City of Pullman will once again ask voters for their approval on the same two separate bond measures they were presented with this past November. We encourage those who voted on the propositions the fi rst time, to do so once again. For those that didn't vote or felt uninformed on the bond measures, we encourage you to attend one of the Open Houses to be held at the Encounter Ministries property. You may also visit the 2018 Bond Information web page www.pullman-wa.gov/2018- bond-information, email us at: pullmanbond@pullman-wa.gov, or take advantage of other opportunities leading up to the election where information will be presented and become knowledgeable about the measures before you. As always, we hope 2018 brings you a year of good health and the opportunities to participate in a wide variety of activities off ered through Parks & Recreation. We look forward to serving everyone in the upcoming year, and you can be assured you will receive a quality experience in any of our programs. From your Parks & Recreation staff ...
