In keeping with this tradition, the Mercer Island Arts Council, with the help of other local arts organizations, is developing an online directory of Mercer Island Artists. The directory will increase the visibility of Mercer Island artists by providing potential clients with a tool to research the services provided by local visual and performing artists. The directory can be viewed at www.mercergov.org/artistdirectory. The directory is divided into the following categories: Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Art Resources and Organizations, Wearable Art, Literary Art, and Galleries.
