W e were already excited enough to finally take delivery of our new Cayman GT4, but as soon as we walked through the doors of the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles (PECLA), we knew that this was going to be about more than just the car. We arrived very early for our "experience," but the team at PECLA didn't blink an eye and instead went into overdrive to launch us into the day's activities since we were the only new owners taking delivery of their car at PECLA that day. From walking through the motorsports garage and seeing some legendary vehicles, to getting a full tour of the PECLA track in a Taycan Turbo S, we were anything but bored. As we were wandering through the facility, including a bit of indulgent shopping in the gift store, we were continually congratulated on our new car; however, we had yet to see it! After an over-the-top lunch experience at Restaurant 917, we were finally escorted down to the private showroom where our GT4 was snuggled under a blanket with its tail lights angrily peeking through the cover. When the delivery team removed the cover, there was a surprisingly overwhelming rush of feelings. We have worked hard, gone through our fair share of life's speed bumps, U-turns, and steep drop-offs, and we were finally achieving a life-long goal of taking delivery of a brand new Porsche.
