Treasurer: Mary Downing – Report Submitted Operating Results: The month of July 2022 receipts of $29,011 were from DE, AX, DS, Concours, dues, and advertising. Expenses posted of $57,069 were for admin, DE, AX, DS, and June Spiel. There are six outstanding checks for $1,692. Bank Balances as of July 31, 2022: Checking account balance minus outstanding checks is $157,917, and savings is $97,487 for total available cash of $255,404. Director-at-Large One: Martin Wild – Report Submitted I'm finalizing routes and details for the September Methow Overland weekend. Currently, there are 20 registered. Registrations are capped at 25. Since there is interest from members without Porsche SUVs, we have decided to open up any remaining slots to those members as of August 1. I anticipate we will fill all 25 spots. Autocross: Paul Hagger – Report Submitted On July 30, we hosted the sixth PNWR PCA autocross event of the 2022 championship In Packwood, WA. There were 61 participants, of which 44 were from PCA (compared to 42 competitors for the 2021 event). Receipts were $2,435, and there was a $138.85 credit card processing fee (compared to receipts of $1,935 in 2021). There were no incidents. On July 31, we hosted the seventh PNWR PCA autocross event of the 2022 championship in Packwood, WA. There were 56 participants, of which 40 were from PCA (compared to 63 competitors for the 2021 event). Receipts were $2,140, and there was a $122 credit card processing fee (compared to receipts of $2,275 in 2021). There were no incidents. During the weekend, a cable to the timing lights was damaged and will be replaced. Caveat Emptor: Dennis Coplen – Report Submitted Classified ads will be submitted this week for September issue of Spiel. Charity: Eric Breidenbach – Report Submitted John Mueller, David Cook, and I finished our first cycle of scholarship interviews at Shoreline Community College. We have five excellent individuals who we are recommending receive $2,000 scholarships and will seek board approval. The next cycle of interviews is expected to occur in late October or early November. I recontacted our member who is offering matching funds to confirm the mechanics of his funding. I am awaiting his reply. We will support the All-Porsche Grand Display event in September and are working with Dennis on the choice of benefactor for the charity funds raised from this event. Concours: Dennis Rood – Report Submitted We currently have over 40 people signed up to show their cars for the All Porsche Grand Display on September 11 at Carillon Point. The list is growing a bit every day, and Jay Gillotti had it posted on Facebook just a day or so ago, so that should help. I sent out another "call for cars" to another 100 people who showed their cars in 2019 and 2018 and should get some more. It usually grows rapidly the last three weeks before the event. Jon Scherer and the Seattle Teen Music Jazz group will be there again to provide live and recorded music and all the A/V equipment we need, including walk- around microphones for Nathan's talk. For the past year, I have been considering changing the charity for the APGD from the Evergreen Hospital/Health to the Technical School Automotive Program. I have talked with John Mueller about his experience over the past years with Lake Washington and why he is changing to the Shoreline Automotive Program. I visited with Mr. Fantozzi last week and was super impressed with their program with its seven manufacturer relationships. They give students new or almost new
