6 Spiel – November 2022 Doug appreciates the commitment that Porsche makes to their motorsport success and how that technology transfers to the vehicles we all love. Outside of that passion, he enjoys soccer, hiking, and spending time outdoors in the company of others. As the holiday season approaches, it brings a time of reflection, appreciation, and thankfulness. W ho does not love a party? We hope you join the PNWR family on the 21st of January at the Tulalip Resort Casino for the Annual PNWR Celebration Dinner. One of the highlights of this year's event will be honoring Roger Jobs from Bellingham Porsche. Roger has been a pillar of the Porsche community for many years. It is our turn to say thank you to Roger. You can attend this event by registering at pnwr.org. We offer a tiered ticketing system, so the earlier you sign up, the more you will save on the ticket price. No one puts on a party like PNWR! We look forward to seeing you at the Tulalip Casino Resort on the 21st of January. We are excited to bring you this month's feature article on sim racing. Our sim racing chairperson, Ed Eijsenring, has been diligently working on this program. He has provided us an informative article about PNWR member Enrico Gregoratto's experience with PCA Sim Racing, which will give you insight into all the ways you could become involved. This is a program that is quickly growing throughout PCA. I encourage you to join in the fun. As the holiday season approaches, it brings a time of reflection, appreciation, and thankfulness, and it's also the time for PNWR to nominate its 2023 officers. This time around, PNWR will elect a new president, vice president, and director-at-large. I have had the privilege of serving as president of PNWR for several years. We all say it is about the people as much as the cars. I wholeheartedly agree as I have met some outstanding members who will be lifelong friends. There will be a time to say thank you. Our PNWR board members and chairpersons are the best in PCA for planning and organization of events for our membership. I have served on many boards in my lifetime, and PNWR board members and chairpersons are the best at their duties among all I have ever served with. They are tireless in their efforts to provide events that will bring a smile to your face every time. Enjoy this holiday season, and thank you for your participation in PNWR. It's Time for a Party. Let's Celebrate!
