Let's Get toGether Larry & SherreL NeLSoN Sherre Well it's July and the unofficial start of summer is the 5th., at least here in Seattle! The big social event this month is our Annual Picnic and Show' n Shine at the Tolt-MacDonald Park in Carnation. The club will supply the charcoal fires for grilling along with the tools soft drinks, condiments, paper plates, plastic silverware and napkins. All you need to bring is something to grill and a potluck dish and or a dessert to share. And with it being summer we will have a "Super Light" Show 'n Shine on the park grass and if it does rain we have a covered shelter and the picnic will go on. So pack the car grab your picnic blanket and the sun screen and will see you on July 17th from 3 to 6. In August we go back to Issaquah to the XXX Root Beer Drive-In to meet-up with old friends and hopefully see new members to have burgers and fries and once again show off our cars. We will be parking our cars in the upper lot and the event will start at six on August 25th. For direction or any questions check out the web page or feel free to contact us. Club Event 14 July 2011 As we start planning for our Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet we are looking for something "NEW". If you have any ideas please contact us. We are looking for a venue that would hold 80 to 100 people and hopefully draw even more. So if you have any suggestions just let us know.
