Lorna Best..perhaps the oldest Porsche enthusiast in
the Northwest!
My Aunt Lorna is 108 years old this year and lives in
a retirement center in Victoria, BC. In one of our recent
phone conversations, we told her about acquiring our
Porsche Carrera. She recognized the brand and said "Oh,
I'd really like to see it sometime!"
On our next trip to visit Aunt Lorna, she used her
walker to come from her apartment to the parking lot to
view the car and after a few moments of admiration she
said "May I go for a ride?"
After tooling around Victoria for a little while we
returned and Lorna said "Thank you, that was a real
thrill!"
