31 Prior to joining CSX, Mr. Warren worked for BNSF Railway in finance, network development and intermodal and played a key role double tracking the Chicago to Los Angeles transcon and opening the Oakland Joint Intermodal terminal. He also worked for the Port of Portland as its director of Business Development with responsibility for real estate, economic development, rail development and strategic planning. Edward Elkins Jr., Director International Intermodal, Norfolk Southern Corporation Ed Elkins is the Director of International Marketing at Norfolk Southern. Mr. Elkins started his railroad career with Norfolk Southern in 1988 with the transportation division and served as a locomotive engineer for six years prior to joining the marketing division in 1994. Mr. Elkins has served Norfolk Southern in various leadership roles through the years including market and product development, pricing, sales management, and most recently as Director of Domestic Intermodal Marketing. Carpenter, Director of Logistics, North America, Supply Chain Operations, International Paper Thomas Carptenter has twenty-five years experience in various logistics, distribution, and transportation management positions, in manufacturing and logistics services. Mr. Carpenter is currently the Director of Logistics for North America at International Paper.
