Crowley's $550 million investment in the Puerto Rico trade includes major upgrades at the
Isla Grande terminal in San Juan, including a new 900-foot pier, three new container gantry
cranes, new technology to support reefers and other container usage and a top-end terminal
operating system. The improvements will support the next generation Commitment Class
ConRo ships that will carry cargo between the mainland and Puerto Rico.
