FROM THE PRESIDENT BILL BAUER There were 43 entries from PNWR that scored at the 2012 Salt Lake City Porsche Parade. 17 entries finished in first place, 6-second place finishers, and 6-third place finishers. In addition to competing in Concours, Golf and Autocross, several members participated in the Gimmick Rally and the Time Speed Distance Rally. There were 124 entries in the Gimmick Rally. Bill and Sheryl Rogers finished 6th, and Dustin Hubbard placed 8th. The Time Speed Distance Rally drew 121 competitors. In the Unequipped Plus Category, Leeds and Wendy Gullick placed 10th, Steve and Mary Downing were 19th with Ruth and Mike McBride taking 23rd. The Unequipped Class saw Miller Adams and John Mueller finish 7th, Erik and Norbert Kremsner place 28th, Keith and Donna McGuire finished 33rd, Dolores and Richard Ranhofer placed 42nd. As you can see, competitors from our region participated in more than one event, but after looking at our statistics, you'll have to agree we performed very well in all events.
