Good working relationships between employees are crucial to a company's success. Learning to appreciate and work with diff erent personalities contributes to a positive work environment with less personality-related stress and fewer misunderstandings. In a residential remodeling business (or any workplace), personality confl icts can have a ripple eff ect on the outcome of projects and a negative impact on client relationships. People have diff erent strengths; that's the value of a team. Everyone needs to respect each other's strengths, seek input, and work together. No matter which personalities show up in a workplace, there are always going to be people who don't get along and individuals that are harder to deal with. But just arming yourself and your employees with this awareness will make dealing with diffi cult personalities easier.
