I t's been said that Pacific Northwest residents do summer better than most since, due to the fleeting nature of our season, we don't take it for granted. Or maybe it's because our members produce such great products in which to properly appreciate the joys of summer. Probably the latter. SUMMER IN THE NORTHWEST: A LOVE STORY Think about your best summer experiences. We're willing to bet, more often than not, they either include or are surrounded by food. And not just any food. That celebrated, certifiably summery, wafting through the warm, lazy air food we love to love—and eat. That's right; we're talking barbecue. Good barbecue defines summer, turning an otherwise uneventful day into a delicious memory so good you can taste it on the tip of your tongue—and the tips of your barbecue sauce-laden fingers.
