The Sunday activities included a swap meet, car displays (with 911Ss grouped together, 912's grouped together, 356's grouped together), a large tent with various vendors, and a "For Sale" Porsche corral. The single nicest thing about this event is the shared camaraderie among the Porsche owners. The cars attending the event start lining up in the early a.m. with the gates opening promptly at 8 a.m. Everyone is sharing their Porsche stories and the end of March and I will be flying into Los Angeles to pick up the car sometime in the near future. Day #4 – Departure to Seattle on Alaska Airlines All good things must come to an end and I took the late afternoon flight out of the Los Angeles area to Seattle. I was sad to leave my friends down in Los Angeles (a great bunch of Porsche fanatics) but was also looking forward to seeing my family back home in Seattle. On the flight home, I reflected back on my four day of Porsche Celebration and made the promise to attend it next year in 2012. Other than the Annual Monterrey Historic Weekend in August, there are very few events that I attend on a consecutive basis.
