New Business Changes to insurance reporting: We now need to complete one or two new reports. There is an Event Report that needs to be sent in 5 days after the event. Ten (10) days after an event the Observers Report needs to be sent in. Ward will send instructions out. Insurance is required for any event in which a car moves or there is a lift. Two reports are required for all AutoX, Skills Day, DriversEd, and Tours. The Observers Report has to be administered by a disinterested party and can be the same person each time. Concours requires an Event Report if it is an insured event; Tech Sessions if a car is being lifted/lifts on the premises. MotorSportsReg.com (MSR): Gregory was sent a wish list of what information a tour registration form might require. It appears that everything asked for could be done using MSR. Passengers had to have their own login if we needed all their information. The waiver on MSR contains whatever verbiage we want, but the signer has to physically sign the waiver. We can make hotel and restaurant reservation. Most of our requirements are met & the information can be customized down to the level we need. One-fourth of our club membership has an account already. It is possible to develop a sub-registration for various club events, & there is quite a bit of flexibility with premium service. 46 May 2011 Next steps: Building an event would be next logical step. Robert Durff would like to contact them about improving their email ability to send information to a large group of people. Upgrading from 4.5% to 5% of the proceeds from the event increases flexibility, and also makes surveys available. The Mt Baker event would be a good candidate for this. Eric Kent will summarize where we are in relation to MSR. Two way radios: For years our radios have been woefully inadequate. Eric Kent is going to research how to improve our radio communication. Steve Downing: Defibrillator training needs to be refreshed. Old Business Dennis Rood looked on the web and most car clubs have no Concours whatsoever. We have the most activity going. Paul Risinger made the comment there are two clubs that stand out as active in Concours - The Antique Car Club of America and the Porsche Club. We did not need insurance for the Interchange Cleanup, as this was not a club-sponsored event. It was covered by State insurance The meeting was adjourned at 8:23 pm. Minutes respectfully submitted by Dolores Ranhofer, PNWR Secretary. PNWR Membership Roster Free for the asking! Include your name, address, phone & membership number.
