Coming soon! Check builtgreen.net for updates. T his new website is the result of about a year of work. Though we have been eagerly awaiting its launch for some time now, we wanted to ensure that we put the time and energy into making it right the fi rst time. That meant lots of meetings with designers, with lots of conversations about how we wanted to best represent the program and organize the wealth of information we provide. It also meant creating a custom database to keep track of the more than 17,000 projects Built Green has certifi ed and moving our old data to this new database. Changing databases means changing processes and we had to make sure that this shift would make our work more e† cient without hindering any of our data collection capabilities. In fact, we wanted to make sure that moving to a new platform would help us collect useful data on Built Green homes that has the potential to boost the program and better support green building in the region. This design and technical work required close collaboration between MBA team members across Built Green, marketing, and IT. Here are some more features to look forward to: • Cinemagraph headers vibrantly showcasing Built Green homes • Easy access to our Built Green blog, news, and research • Clear descriptions of what Built Green is and what it does • A member portal where members can enroll projects and download helpful Built Green information • A reformatted resources section with up-to-date information on incentives, green building labels, and technical information • Much more! We're looking forward to going live soon! Screenshot from the newly revamped Built Green Website 55 WINTER 2017 master builder
