NAHB/BIAW Awards A t the International Builders Show, held in January in Orlando, MBAKS received two national honors in the form of CADRE awards. The Council Awards for Demonstrating Remodeling Excellence (CADRE) are presented annually by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Remodelers council. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2017 NAHB AWARD WINNERS • Luellen Smith, CADRE award for Outstanding Associate Member • The MBAKS Remodelers Council, CADRE award for Outstanding Public Relations and Promotion Also announced at the show were the promotion of Darylene Dennon to NAHB Professional Women in Building MBAKS TOP SPIKES FOR 2017 (Total number of Spike credits in parenthesis) chairwoman and an NAHB grant of $10,000 to the Evergreen Campaign Institute, or ECI. The institute is a political education and leadership development program created to increase the number of business and community leaders running for o§ce. Closer to home, we'd also like to congratulate our MBAKS Top Spikes for 2017, below. Our Spikes are the lifeblood of the association.
