Please RSVP so we know how many will be attending. A block of rooms at the Earthbox Motel and Spa (800-793-4756) is being held till March 18th. As of now, 6 or 8 couples have signed up. We are hoping to have some larger vehicles to carpool to the garages. This is not a driving event and we need to be mindful of ferry traffic and the number of vehicles arriving at the garages. The Restoration Clinic is on 3/26 at Racecraft and the number of people is limited. The Concours Clinic at Risinger���s is limited to 35 people. The rest of the events are going along as planned. istration is open and there are 13 participants registered. The clean up has been cancelled until we have warmer weather. Chief Driving Instructor ��� Velle Kolde: Present- Report Submitted There are 1627 members. 1372 are dues paying. This number is up 22 from a year ago. Dues are up $8,000 more than last year based on the increase in our membership fee this year. Present - Report Submitted In cooperation with BMW PS and BMW IEC, we conducted the annual Instructor Clinic at Pacific Raceways (Feb 26, 2011). Fifty participants, including nine instructor candidates, braved the cold and snow flurries to train for the upcoming season. Planning has begun researching for next year���s Instructor Clinic. Leeds Gulick and Tom Pritchett were voted in as Senior Instructors. We will be ordering badges for Instructors that do not have them. The club acquired a Contour GPS camera, (from club sponsor 425 Motorsports) which will be used to create instructional videos and for video analysis at our driving events. Driver Education - Tom Pritchett: Driver Skills ��� Robert Durff: Database Coordinator - Leeds Gulick: Present - Report Submitted Tom requested that proof of insurance be provided for the entire year so we can provide it to Pacific Raceway only once. Ward will check, as the application is being made this week. Separate checks for all sessions are being submitted with the application so Ward was unsure if an insurance certificate for the entire year would be issued. The First event is April 21st. Reg- Not Present - Report Submitted Our next event is 3/19 and we already have a full house of participants. Still recruiting volunteers and instructors for the event. Driver Skills Leadership team is growing in competence Jeff Nord led the Feb event from the instructor side; Daniele Hovington will lead in March. Spiel Editor - Barb Coplen: Not Present - Report Submitted We are busily scrambling to enter two issues of the Spiel for Parade competition. This is due on March 18th. Goodie Store - Ted and Kathy Vander Hoek Not Present - Report Submitted Web store has been extended to include books, and collectables. Membership - Pete Olson Not Present - Report Submitted There were (11) new PNWR members joining in February. No ���green��� colored Porsches this month, maybe in March for celebration of St. Patrick���s day! We had (1) transfer in, and (7) transfer out. From national PCA we had 87 renewals and 29 non-renewals. Safety - Steve Downing: Present ��� No Report Submitted Social - Larry & Sherrel Nelson: Present - Report Submitted New members day took place on March 6th.
