MELISSA IRONS, 2015 REMODELER OF THE YEAR On those who have helped her achieve the highest successes, Melissa off ers much praise to friends and family of the MBA: "The nomination was from my husband Joseph Irons and, in large part, my involvement and success in the Association is due to the partnership we have." (You may know Joseph as 2016 MBA President Joseph Irons.) "A lot of the projects and committees I directly infl uenced and impacted, and continue to do so, were spearheaded or started by Joseph during his RC (Remodelers Council) Chair terms in 2010 and 2011. "I would like to also, eventually, fi nd time to teach others through the NAHB University of Housing courses as I am a trained instructor in the certifi cation courses they have and which have been integral in my success. I believe that this is a gift that I can share to help others grow and succeed, and look forward to doing this when the time is right for my family and business." Sounds like the industry's next generation will be in good hands. Congratulations Melissa! 26 master builder 06.16
