ANGIE SIEVERS, SNOHOMISH COUNTY EXTERNAL RELATIONS AND GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS Angie operates in a multifaceted role here at the MBA, which is just fi ne with her. Seemingly custom-fi t for all the position entails, Angie's encompassing experience includes designing and engaging in external relations strategy primarily focused on community, business and economic development related organizations in Snohomish County. MARJORIE COKE, EVENTS COORDINATOR Marjorie Coke is a member of the Events team, working on the MBA rental program as well as with various member and internal events, assisting with registration, pre- and post-event administration duties and event process standardization. PATRICIA AKIYAMA, EXTERNAL RELATIONS MANAGER Patricia Akiyama has been helping the MBA complete a comprehensive buildable lands study, and more recently she has worked on South King County governmental relations. Patricia has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, including roles working for U.S. Senator Patty Murray, and for House Speaker Frank Chopp, as well as for the companies Weyerhaeuser, Quadrant Homes, Russell Investments, and most recently, the Port of Seattle. TRACY RIERSON, MEMBERSHIP SUPPORT AND RECEPTIONIST Tracy comes to us with a wealth of experience gathered while working at US West Communications/Qwest Communications (CenturyLink for those of you who are new to our area). We are very excited about the talents she brings to the receptionist/membership support position and the valuable asset we know she is as the welcoming face of the MBA Member Center. SHERRI ESTEP, EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATOR Sherri comes to us from Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, where she supported the Executive Vice President for just over eight years. She has an extensive background in offi ce administration and loves working with people. 55 06.16 master builder
