The attendance was off a little, but well over the break even mark. We want to buy new instructor shirts. September 29th is the last event. September 2nd was first time instructing for Eddie Lo our newest instructor. There was a question on how to deliver them to Bellingham. Bill Bauer is to send a note asking if they are willing to wait until the October 15th AutoX or suggest an alternative date. Membership ��� Jay Gillotti Present - Report Submitted We have six new members for October. There are new handout cards. There was a lot of interest in the booths at the Kirkland Concours from individuals interested in becoming members. Present - Report Submitted There was an incident at the track. Someone made mention the car might be fixable but will have salvage title. Present - Report Submitted There are two opportunities to participate in Social Dinners this fall. On September 26th we are having a dinner at the New Orleans Club in Pioneer Square in Seattle. On October 20th meet us at the Coho Cafe in Issaquah. RSVP required for both events. The annual banquet is tentatively scheduled for January 21st at Griot���s. The intent is for the event to be much more casual than previously. Sherrel called a half dozen places and the fee is comparable. Special Events - Duncan Newell: Present - No Report Submitted Technical Education - Bill Rogers: Present - Report Submitted There is a Tech Event on October 1st at MAXRPM, and we are visiting Systems Unlimited on November 19th. They specialize in Radar Detectors that are not detectible. WWU VRI is going to have an open house. Tentative dates are October 29th and November 5th. Tours ��� Eric B. Kent: Present - Report Submitted Eric Breidenbach led the Mt Baker ���Climb to the Top��� tour and all went well. There were approximately 70 members and 40+ cars. The Chrysalis Inn & Spa was a good place to stay. Everyone enjoy the weekend, the event and the company. The next tour leaves Friday, September 16th to Sun Mountain. There are 23 cars registered at this time. The Cannon Beach tour is after that. The tentative dates for the Ridge Motorsports Park Tour are September 25th, October 2nd, and October 22nd. Suggestions for dates were requested. There is still room for anyone interested in the Sun Mountain and Cannon Beach tours. New Business: Remainder of WWU donation - WWU has asked if we can provide the rest of our 2011 donation. We owe $5000 less $1795 for the jackets. $3200 would be what we would donate to them.
