From the editor Barb Coplen Happy Fall! It���s October and time for the leaves to change colors, the rain and storms to blow in and for the club to start planning the big Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet. This year Larry and Sheryl Nelson are going to mix it up a bit. The past few years attendence has been dwindling, so the event this year is going to be a bit more casual. Griot���s Garage has an incredible new facility in Tacoma with a big space for groups to gather, mix and mingle. Richard Griot has an amazing collection of vehicles and I���m sure the crew at Griot���s will bring out the best of the Porsches to add to the ambiance. The details are still being worked out as far as catering and perhaps entertainment. For those of you who have never been to the Annual Awards Banquet, it is where the new board of directors for the year are intro- Spiel Submission Guidelines duced, the out going board is thanked for their service. The committee chairs who put in many hours throughout the year to make the tours, track events, social gatherings, and all of the various operational and administrative tasks necessary to keep the club running and the membership connected are recognized for all of their hard work. It does involve time commitment every month, but it really is a lot of fun and a chance to learn a new skillset.
