Let���s Get Together Larry & Sherrel Nelson I hope all of you are enjoying this beautiful fall weather. It���s time to plug in the battery charger, change the wiper blades, and get ready for the upcoming holiday season! This month we are looking forward to the second annual Porsche/Mini Food Drive Challenge, benefiting the Northwest Harvest food bank. We are hoping for a repeat of last year���s event - with lots of cars and a bright sunny day. At noon on Saturday, December 3rd, we will all be gathering in the huge parking lot of the Overlake Christian Church at 9900 Willows Road NE in Redmond. Arrive early so you have time to socialize and connect up with our rivals in the Mini club. We will then caravan over to the donation drop-off at Redmond Town Center for the delivery of food and checks for Northwest Harvest. Our Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet After the donation drop, we will be heading will be held at Griot���s Garage in Tacoma on over to the Coho Caf�� in Redmond for a casual January 21st. This event will be more casual that our previous banquets and is sure to be food to Northwest Harvest. We are hoping a great time. As in past years we will have to top last year���s tremendous success. Last year, the Mini Club beat us in cash donations, some great prizes to raffle-off for charity, so mark your calendars now so you can be sure but we had a far greater car turnout.
