Scott Freeman 2001 Silver 911 Turbo Sammamish Jacques Dubois & Yolande Laverdure 2012 Black Cayman R Bellingham Here���s a quick correction to my article in the January Spiel about 917 chassis 035/015 (���The Taxi���). I said it was distinctively the only Gulf 917 in Porsche���s Museum. Turns out that was an incorrect statement. Chassis 014, a car used by the Gulf team in 1970, was on loan for many years to the Langenburg Museum, but has returned to Porsche. I���m told it came back sometime during 2010. This is a significant car as well, used by Siffert & Redman to win at Spa and they finished second in it at Daytona and Watkins Glen. It now wears a fresh paint job but has an incorrect 1971 ���fin��� tail. 014 took the display space of chassis 027 when that car came to the US for an extended visit this fall. In other Museum news, Klaus Bischof said in a recent issue of Motorsport that he wants to get the 917/20 (the ���Pink Pig���) back to running condition. Only trouble is that the engine is missing its crankshaft!
