October Meeting Minutes dolores ranhofer November 7, 2011 Mercer Island Community Center Bill Bauer called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. A quorum of the Board was present. Dates for Drivers Skills and AutoX depend on how much pavement is available in the parking area. There will be an event for a charity in Shelton. We are planning a tour to Shelton with a parade lap, and hope to get there ASAP. Tom Pritchett is single point of contract with them. The Workers Party is this weekend, Saturday, November 12th. Every instructor for Drivers Skills and Drivers Ed has been notified and hopefully will attend. Anyone who has volunteered should be at Caf�� Veloce. Ballots have been sent out for the 2012 Board Members It would be appreciated if everyone would vote. The Club received a really nice thank you from Diane and Emmett on their experience at Rennsport. Director at Large ��� Jay Gillotti: Present - Report Submitted Rennsport Reunion was fabulous. Hard to describe how good an event it was. Porsche, PCA and PCNA all did a great job. Attendance was at 20-30,000 people. Director at Large - Larry Nelson: Vice-President ��� Ward Carter: Present -- Report Submitted. We are up to date on insurance for the rest of the year. Thanks to everyone for getting their request in early. We���ve had a good response from National, and will try to keep ahead in the future. If anyone has waivers, please get waivers to Ward ASAP. Present ���Report Submitted The NW Harvest Food Drive is underway. The web page will be changed. The Food Drive takes place on December 3rd, and this year there is a Facebook Page to keep everyone up to date. The Mini/Porsche Challenge 2 is on and we are set up to meet at Overlake Christian Center at 9900 Willows Road NE in Redmond. We are working on getting an escort to Redmond Town Center. If you want to make a donation, you can also drop off food at Park Place and Larson���s. For cash donations make your check out to NW Harvest and mail to PNWR. There are no competing events. Everyone be there! Secretary - Dolores Ranhofer: Past President ��� Eric Breidenbach: Present - No Report Treasurer - Mary Downing: Present - Report Submitted October showed receipts of $18,529, expenses Club Event 44 of ($54,452), resulting in a loss of $35,923. Year to date receipts total $252,953. Expenses total $225,158 resulting in year to date income of $27,795. We show $148,689 in available cash as of 10/31/2011 with $52,168 in checking and $96,522 in short-term CDs. Summation: Loss position this month due to pre-payment of 2012 track fees, BIAWA donation and Sept Drivers Ed expenses paid in October. Club continues to operate in good financial standing.
