2012 Board of Directors Election Below are the resumes for the candidates running for 2012 PNWR board positions. Please review and vote for the candidates you feel can best serve in each role. Vote for only one director-at-large - there is only one position open as it is a two-year term. Ballots will be mailed to your home at the beginning of November. Please mark the ballot with your choice, enter your PCA membership number(s) on the spaces provided, apply a stamp and mail so that it is postmarked prior to Nov. 16, 2011. Ballots must have your membership number or they cannot be counted. Your number can be found on the Panorama address label, your PCA membership card or you may contact Jay Gillotti at membership@pnwr.org or Leeds Gulick at database@pnwr.org. Its your club - so please vote! Thank you, The Nominating Committee Candidate for PRESIDENT BILL BAUER Thank you for your consideration to continue as President for our region. Over the past year I have worked diligently to further build the legacy of PCA/PNWR as the premier car club nationally and locally. I have broadened my knowledge of our memberships wideranging interests and driven efforts to diversify our events program. Your club operates in good financial standing, produces a nationally award-winning monthly color newsletter, has an events program unmatched by any other club, makes impactful charitable donations, and seeks your input continually. This year weve had some notable firsts: Adopt-a-highway program near Pacific Raceways; Driver Skills leadership team implemented to further strengthen the program; Cayenne tour to Mt. Rainier; Evening Drivers Education event; Supportive testimony at Ridge Motorsports Park at public hearings. My goals for next year are to continue the innovation of our programs and to actively engage more club members in our activities. I believe we can have additional, less formal, and smaller events that are more readily accessible to you. I will do my best to seek, understand and exceed your expectations. I look forward to continuing to serve you. Candidate for VICE PRESIDENT WARD CARTER I have enjoyed serving as the Vice President for the past 12 months, and look forward to continued service with your support. Although I have been a member of the PNWR for over 15 years, my involvement in many of the past years has been limited to autocross and an occasional tour, concours or track day. Since I began serving on the Board in 2010, I have gained a sincere appreciation for the breadth of club activities and strong dedication of the volunteers who manage the varied activities of the club. I am very interested in broadening the range of club activities that I attend and support, and look forward to working with the Board and Committee Chairs on new initiatives to enhance the overall club experience. I bring a background in business management, with a strong track record in technology and finance gained through 20 years in the software industry followed by 15 years in technology mergers and acquisitions. Id welcome the opportunity to continue to serve as a Board Member. 6 November 2011
